Since April 2005
Immanuel's Ground have hosted a day of singing and playing west gallery
music using material by regional composers and compilers.
These pieces are often to be found in printed sources or discovered in
manuscript books known to have been used by church quires and bands. The music
this year may well also come from sources wider than just the
Mid-Shires.
Work is still being carried out for HS2 between Byfield and the adjoining village of Chipping Warden to its south-west towards Banbury. There are roadworks !! Seating will be sensibly spaced, and for that reason we have decided this year again to limit attendance to 60 people.
As of 25 March 2024, we have but one place left,
so,
